What matters most

What matters most is not a conventional module with a fixed duration and outcomes, but a space for free activities within the Association’s range of work. There, learning happens through play, making and experimentation, whenever there is time, curiosity and a good crew.

The aim is for members to try technology without the pressure of grades: algorithms through games, digital making through 3D, automation through drones, and a shared space for play and spending time together.

What we do

Gaming workshops – algorithms through Minecraft and Factorio

In Minecraft we build, automate and solve tasks that call for planning, loops and conditions. In Factorio you learn logistics, prioritisation and “what happens when the system grows”; these are the same muscles as in programming, only in the form of a game.

  • simple sequences and automation (redstone / belts / storage)
  • breaking a large problem into smaller parts
  • teamwork: who plans, who builds, who tests

3D printing and rendering models

From idea to object: modelling, preparing for printing, printing and basic rendering for presentation. The activity links creativity with technical precision and gives a tangible result that can be taken home or shown at a showcase.

  • basics of a 3D model (shape, dimensions, supports)
  • slicing and printing on a 3D printer
  • simple rendering / visualisation of the model

Programming drones

Drones are a living laboratory for sensors, coordination and control. Through short tasks we learn how a command becomes movement, and why safety in the air matters just as much as the code.

  • basic manoeuvres and the rules of safe flight in a controlled space
  • programmed flights / missions (paths, waypoints, simple automation)
  • a link with robotics and algorithmic thinking

Free playroom

Open time for board games and digital games, short challenges and informal learning. The playroom is where members connect, share tricks and carry on projects from other activities, without a strict lesson, with a mentor nearby.

How to join

We announce times and sign-ups alongside the forming of groups and the schedule. For questions, get in touch via Contact; we will be glad to say what is currently open.
