A module for digital making: editing images, sound and film. The Association works on connecting informatics culture with artistic expression: creativity, innovation and multimedia skills.
Key facts
- Age: For younger and older primary-school pupils, and secondary-school pupils
- Focus: image, sound, video, film, licences
- Prerequisite: none
- Ministry of Science and Education (MZO) domain: C
- Infokup: none (project-based / STEM, outside Infokup)
- Scope: 1 set of learning outcomes from the curriculum, 13 topics
- Progression: groups by level of knowledge, not by age
Module aims
- edit an image in Krita
- record and clean up sound
- edit a short film
- respect licences and authorship
Learning outcomes
The participant makes and publicly presents a finished short film and states the licences of the materials used.
MZO outcomes (NN 22/2018)
Outcomes are mapped to the Informatics curriculum from the Official Gazette (Narodne novine) 22/2018. Codes are unique only within a track, so the track is stated with each code (OŠ – primary school, gimn – grammar school, PMG – science and mathematics grammar school).
- A.7.4, C.5.4 (OŠ); C.3.1 (gimn – multimedia project)
Levels of mastery
Four levels describe what mastering the module means in practice. A participant progresses by level, not by age.
- satisfactory: edits an image or sound with guidance
- good: edits a short piece
- very good: finishes a film while respecting licences
- exceptional: publishes a series of works with accessibility and advanced sound
